Salim Satvamohan and his parents came to America from India for a better life. His parents work odd jobs to make ends meet so they aren't rich by any means, but what they don't have financially they have with their faith.Salim is always happy no matter if good or bad things are happening. He can always find the silver lining in the storm clouds. He is also good at giving advice on moral issues so his friends tend to go to him when they are faced with a hard choice.
He gets picked on sometimes because he is different but he never lets it get him down, he strives when he is faced with adversity. Salim uses this knowledge to help his friends when they go on their adventures.
